It started on a Saturday rush
Lanekeeper was created by Rae Okonkwo, who ran an independent 6-bay facility in Ohio, and Sam Pell, a systems engineer. Frustrated by bulky legacy shop management software that nobody looked at during a rush, they built a fast, focused telemetry board designed specifically for active bays.
Why it stays small
We do not sell an all-in-one platform
Most shop software tries to be accounting, payroll, inventory, CRM, inspection video and parts ordering at once, inside one sluggish interface nobody on the floor wants to touch.
Lanekeeper does one thing exactly: it watches active bay work orders, flags a slip the moment it happens, and pages the right technician and the customer before a promise breaks.
